Check of level of brake fluid

Constant control

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. In Audi A4 too low level of brake fluid is shown by also control bulb on the control panel, but nevertheless you should not refuse visual control:
  2. Open a cowl and wipe a tank with brake fluid a rag.
  3. Level of brake fluid has to be in a transparent broad tank between the marks "mines" and "max". In this case everything is all right.

Too low level of brake fluid?

If overlays of disk brakes are already a little erased, then the tendency to lowering of the level of liquid up to the lower mark is looked through; if they new, then liquid level exceeds the top mark again. This absolutely normal phenomenon as at the erased slips moved forward are a little farther pistons of a disk brake leave the bigger volume which is filled with brake fluid in cylinders of brake supports. The situation becomes critical when in a tank the level of brake fluid falls below the mark "mines". As it does not evaporate and is not spent, that is the place of a leakage. Quickly find out the reason, the brake pedal did not refuse yet! Having added will be eyewash!
