Designations of candles

By means of the designations given in the table below you buy the necessary spark plugs for the Audi A4 model. What is behind figures and letters?

Kalilny number: spark plugs have to correspond to temperatures arising in engine combustion chambers.

The index gives information on temperature which the spark plug can sustain, i.e. is capable to give, without overheating. If the candle gives too much warmth, it does not reach self-cleaning temperature, and on spark plugs the soot is postponed.
Electrodes: In Audi A4 spark plugs only with three electrodes of weight are used.

Carving: in spark plugs for Audi A4 it has to be 19 mm long; diameter of a carving makes 14 mm.

Key pharynx width: the hexagon for installation on a candle in four - and six-cylinder engines in Audi A4 has width of 16 mm.

Sealing surface: for all engines candles with a flat sealing surface are provided. They have not removed sealing ring therefore there is no need for additional consolidation.
