Different systems of ignition

  • In the 74 kW engine the system of ignition Motronic with the distributor is installed. In this engine installation of ignition since adaptation of the moment of ignition to each situation in operation of the engine – it becomes in exclusively electronic way is carried out.
  • In the 92 kW engine the system of ignition Motronic without distributor is installed. In this system of ignition about one coil of ignition is the share of two cylinders. It gives a spark while it is necessary for one of two cylinders. It does excessive the ignition distributor. Side effect of such division: each cylinder receives for one running cycle on an exhaust step one more (unnecessary, but harmless) a spark.
  • The 110 kW four-cylinder engine is also equipped with system of ignition Motronic without distributor. Difference from the 92 kW engine: here each cylinder has the coil of ignition with own management. There is no unnecessary spark, and each cylinder can separately be operated.
  • The system of ignition of MPI and MPFI of the six-cylinder engine is a component of management of operation of the engine. Here, as well as in the 92 kW engine, about one coil of ignition is the share of each two cylinders.
