Thermostat

Simply speaking, the thermostat is intended to define whether it is necessary to cool liquid in a radiator or not, i.e. he "makes the decision" on whether cooling liquid on "small" or on a "big" circle has to circulate what it was already told at the beginning of the head about.

The thermostat regulates a stream of cooling liquid depending on its temperature. While temperature of cooling liquid increases, the thermostat increases a stream of cold liquid from a radiator. On the contrary, if working temperature falls, the thermostat spring wrings out a valvate plate in situation again "Zu" "is closed" (German) and, thus, blocks inflow of the cooled-down cooling liquid until again operational temperature does not rise.
