Standard designations of plugs

Multi-colored mixture of wires in the car is actually very well ordered as many details of the electrotechnical equipment of the car are standardized. Figures on different knots and connecting elements of wires, and also in electric circuits on all German and on some foreign cars have the same value:

The plug 15 receives power supply only at the included ignition from the ignition lock, at the same time along with system of ignition/injection those consumers of the electric power who have to receive current only during operation of the car are supplied with current. At wires to plugs 15 in most cases a cover of black color, sometimes with a color additional strip at certain consumers of current.

The plug 30 receives a direct current from plus of the accumulator or from the generator at the working engine. At careless handling of tools it can lead to short circuits or cause a rain of sparks if the wire connected to accumulator minus is not removed. These wires which are always energized in most cases have red color, sometimes with additional color strips.

The plug 49 belongs to system of faltering and emergency light signals.

Via the plug 53 tension in system of clarification of glasses moves.

From the plug 56 current on headlights of passing beam on yellow and yellow-black wires, and also on high beam headlamps on white and white-black wires moves.

From the plug 58 the electric power on forward parking fires, and also on back lamps and for illumination of registration plate moves. Primary color of a cover of wires gray, sometimes with an additional color strip.

The plug 75 of the lock of ignition receives current in case the ignition key is in situation "Is included".

The plug 31 – the plug of weight by means of which the consumer of the electric power has to be connected to weight to close an electric chain. At the corresponding wires a cover of brown color.
