Idling adjustment
In all Audi A4 models there is an automatic adjustment of turns of idling. There is no adjusting screw any more by which already nothing can be adjusted. If idling turns wrong, then they are checked. Under the correct conditions of check speed has to be adjusted to 680–820 rpm (the engine of 2,6 l) or 700–800 rpm (the engine of 2,8 l). If is not present, then:
- Check all knots of system of absorption (hoses, laying) for tightness. The getting additional air can change so strongly idling speed that the idling stabilization valve will not be able even to level them.
- Consider in a workshop the computer with the memory device of malfunctions. Perhaps, in system there is other defect.
