Check of cuffs of power shafts

Cuffs – the arrow indicates one of them – on hinges should not have cracks and damages. Dirt and moisture are dangerous to the hinge.

Hinges of power shafts are protected from dampness and dirt by rubber cuffs. You have to check regularly attentively whether lost a cuff of the tightness at the expense of cracks.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lift a jack each driving wheel.
  2. Slowly turn a shaft and check a cuff for existence of fragile sites and holes. Lubricant traces can also testify to it.
  3. Whether collars strongly sit?
  4. As soon as possible replace defective dustproof cuffs, otherwise the getting moisture will quickly destroy hinges, and they cost little not!
