A. At turn of the ignition key the starter brings the engine to the provision of start-up too slowly or at all does not get |
1. Control bulbs burn low or at all do not burn
a) the accumulator was discharged
c) contacts of wires weakened or were oxidized
c) the starter was connected to weight
2. Control bulbs burn brightly, the clicking sounds in the field of a starter a) graphite brushes and their connecting contacts weakened in a starter
c) contacts were baked in the electromagnetic switch
c) the starter winding is damaged
3. Control bulbs brightly burn, there are no noise
a) the electromagnetic switch froze up, was stuck or is overheated
c) the contact of the plug 50 on the electromagnetic switch is weakened
c) there is no conductivity in a plug 50 wire from the ignition lock to the electromagnetic switch

Start the engine an auxiliary wire
Check connections of wires
Repair a starter
Shortly knock on the electromagnetic switch. If the starter does not work further, then: check graphite brushes
Replace the electromagnetic switch
Repair a starter
Let your assistant will turn the ignition key in the provision of start of the engine and will knock with a wrench on the electromagnetic switch

B. The starter works, but does not turn the engine |
1. Jammed the starting lever
2. Teeth of a gear wheel or a flywheel of the engine are damaged |
Repair a starter
Move the car by the included transfer a little. Start the engine again. Replace the damaged details in auto repair shop |

C. The electromagnetic switch in the bystry sequence joins and switched off, the starter does not work |
The accumulator was strongly discharged, at turning on of the electromagnetic switch tension falls, and it is again disconnected |
Charge the accumulator |

D. The starter continues to work though the key is released |
1. The electromagnetic switch froze up and is not switched-off
2. The ignition/start-up switch is faulty |
At once switch off ignition, as a last resort, disconnect the accumulator. Replace the electromagnetic switch

E. The gear wheel does not leave grooves after turning on of the engine |
1. The returnable spring of the starting lever does not work or is broken
2. Teeth of a gear wheel and/or a flywheel of the engine are polluted or damaged |
