Lamp of illumination of salon

Under the general lens (4) glow lamps of lamps for reading (1 and 3), and also a lamp for illumination of salon (2) settle down.


At the dismantled lamp of salon (weaken two screws on an average reflector) on a reverse side there are available switches (1 and 3) of lamps for reading and the switch (2) lamps of salon.


Such door contact switch (1; here it is dismantled) is only on back doors under a rubber nozzle (2).

Sleva: in cars with illumination of a mirror for a make-up it is possible to squeeze out carefully an insert of a mirror (1) from a frame of a sun-protection peak. Then the microswitch (2) and both sofitny lamps (3 and 4) will be visible to illumination of a mirror.

On the right: according to devices the boss and the glow lamp form one structural element. Here the bulb is unscrewed. Figure "1" showed an arrangement of the lassie for lighting of devices, figure "2" designated 5 bulbs for lighting of the on-board computer and the control unit.

Functioning

In Audi A4 control of functioning of a lamp of salon is exercised from the central lock: the control unit of the central lock influences work of a lamp of salon as follows:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. After the ignition key is taken out, the lamp of salon flashes.
  2. When opening the car illumination of salon joins.
  3. At inclusion of ignition, and also when closing the car the light is turned off.
  4. After closing of a door light burns about 30 more with, but in case before it ignition joined or the central lock was put in action.
  5. If the door remains opened more than 4 min., then the lamp of salon is disconnected.

Lamp lamps for illumination of salon

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Carefully wring out from grooves the lens of a lamp and then take out a lamp from the case.
  2. At installation insert hooks on a reverse side into a cut in a roof in the beginning.
  3. Take out a sofitny lamp (10 W, length of 41 mm) from the boss.
  4. At the combined lamp for reading take out from the boss a lamp with a glass socle (5 W).

The door contact switch of a lamp for illumination of salon

On forward doors in the Audi A4 there are no traditional door contact switches any more. Instead of them the contact "is integrated into a servomotor of the central lock doors are closed".

In a different way the situation is with back doors: here in a doorway the traditional contact switch is installed. It sends a direct signal of the provision of a door to the control unit of the central lock as it does contact of forward doors. Violations in operation of this switch arise when:

  • press the pin of the switch gets jammed in a guide or it is bent. Replace the switch;
  • the socket of a wire fell off the switch. In order that the socket kept better, slightly bend it and again insert;
  • the contact surface of the switch with the fixing screw or contacts of the socket were oxidized. Remove an oxide layer with an emery paper or the sharp screw-driver.

The door contact switch is screwed on a door pillar only by one screw with a crosswise head. That to dismantle it, remove a rubber nozzle, unscrew the screw and take out the switch.

Back lamps for reading

Just as forward lamps for reading, back lamps can be established in a provision of lamps of illumination of salon due to change of position of the switch therefore a back part of salon has benefit from management of illumination of salon too. Replacement of lamps:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Insert the screw-driver into dredging sideways on the case of a lamp and carefully wring out a lamp.
  2. After replacement of the glow lamp insert the lamp case again – in the beginning that party where a wire.

Illumination of a mirror for a make-up

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Carefully squeeze out a mirror insert from a frame of a sun-protection peak.
  2. Take out this glow lamp from the boss.
  3. Insert a new lamp.

Lamp for illumination of a luggage carrier

Both lamps for illumination of a luggage carrier settle down at the left in side facing of a luggage carrier, and also – is a little hidden – in a cross guard under back glass.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Open a cowl.
  2. Insert the screw-driver into dredging sideways in the case of a lamp and carefully wring out a lamp.
  3. After replacement of the glow lamp (a sofitny lamp of 5 W, length of 36 mm) insert the lamp case again – in the beginning that party where a wire.

Lamp for illumination of a motive compartment

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Slightly squeeze a lamp plafond on the right and at the left and remove it.
  2. At a 10-watt bulb bayonetny connection.
