Brake amplifier
The auxiliary effort is provided at the expense of the lowered pressure in an inlet collector. The brake amplifier is connected with an inlet collector a hose. When braking the difference between the atmospheric pressure and the lowered pressure in an inlet collector displaces a big elastic membrane and puts the additional pressure upon pistons in the main brake cylinder. If the engine does not work, the servoupravleniye cannot develop (additional) brake effort too. If on the way the engine suddenly stops, then at you some reserve for several braking still remains. But after that gastrocnemius muscles have to work at full capacity.
